Executive Board

President & Forwards Captain

  • Taylor started playing rugby during law school for the Albany Law Women’s Rugby team in 2021. She also plays for the Old Breed Rugby Team. Besides Rugby, Taylor is an active member of three summer softball leagues. She is very excited to play with the Fillies and for the legendary Coach Babs.

Vice President

  • Catie started playing rugby in high school with the Saratoga Mustangs for two years and continued playing at Plattsburgh State with the women's club team for four years as player, captain and president. When she's not on the field, she's in the classroom working as a second grade teacher.

Treasurer

  • After years of competing in Olympic weightlifting, Taylor was ready for a new way to channel her competitive drive. After hearing about rugby from a coworker and fellow Fillies teammate, she decided to give it a shot — and hasn’t looked back since. Ready and excited for season two!

Match Coordinator

  • Sierra joined the Saratoga Mustangs in high school, where she played for four years under Coach Babson. She went on to play at UAlbany and is now thrilled to be a Filly playing for Coach Babson again.

Social Chair

  • Corinna began playing rugby in college at SUNY Plattsburgh. She joined the Fillies last year and is excited to continue growing and learning with the team!

Board Advisor

  • Lucia is our most seasoned vet as she has played for 15 years, served as Head Coach at UAlbany, and is an original member of Saratoga Women’s Rugby as she played for the Brumbies. She is currently the coach at RPI and she coached some of her Fillies teammates while they were on the Mustangs and is also an active world rugby certified referee.

Coach

  • Rick is a legend. He has coached many of the girls on the team throughout high school or college and he creates a fun environment for new girls to learn the sport. He can still be found running on the rugby field after 20+ years of playing and coaching.
